Tokyo

I thought I would write an entry with a resumed experience of going to Tokyo, which was pretty amazing and to say the least, amusing to the western mind :) I havent met cutest and more polite people in my life, felt treated like a princess :)

I stayed in the most beautiful hotel I ever been in, in the 30th floor by the Tower (wich happens to be the copy of the Eiffel tower, only a bit taller, by that one little stick on the top!). I cant recommend enough the Prince Park Tower Hotel, the breakfasts were incredible and I even had a Jakuzzi in my room! This was the view from the room we stayed in:

view from the elevator:

the most amazing cat shop in the world, where I also went in to visit some very beautiful cats. Apparently people in japan havent got much space on their flats to keep pets so they come to places like this to play with them from time to time, I think its quite cute but I couldnt live with my little baby, who I bought a frog costume to *giggle*

said costume on my little Onyx, doesnt she look ADORABLE?? :D

we also got wigs to my boyfriend's cats :>

the wall of shame... erm, fame :)

One thing that really striked me was the loos... not only the posh hotel had these toilets with all sorts of control, warm seat, an ass cleaner, a bidet (all very precise I must add...) a flush sound button to conceal any rude noises... and even pressure and volume buttons... LOL I do miss the warm seat though... (I picked the illustrative pic from google as I forgot to take one) All public toilets got these, imagine this in the UK? they would last 2 days!

we found some hillarious words as we went along the streets of Tokyo...

Some pics of me on several places...

Liberty statue... that got me a bit confused :P

Some kinky game apparently...

All the restaurants and food places have exact versions of the food they serve made of plastic, that made a hell of a lot easier to pick food! and phew they do look EXACTLY of what you were getting... check out these yummy crepes with icecream, I had a strawberries and chocolate one ;)

Me at a restaurant... no english menu :(

this one was rather good, you had a BBQ at your table and they serve you the meat raw for you to cook it as you please, it was so beautifully tender and fresh, very yummy indeed!

Along the streets of Tokyo at night...

A really cool shop I liked very much the look of...

More me...

A commercial center that looks absolutelly amazing and has a fake sky! like the truman show...

Shopping in the day... My favourite area was definitivelly Shibuya, I also went to Harajuku, Ginza, Odaiba and Shinjuku. A LOT of lolita stuff everywhere, not really my thing so I hardly bought anything. I was expecting to buy the Canon EOS 5d mark II as its about 500 pounds cheaper over there but it comes out late November... boo!

I had dinner at Christon restaurant (a restaurant that looks like a church, very beautiful but they sit us in a not so good place) and the Vampire cafe wich I absolutelly loved, where I took some pictures, most of my food was blood colour, I had blood orange juice and bolognesa pasta, lots of spanish dishes weirdly enough on the menu... the dessert was amazing!

and back at the hotel with the boyfriend...

bye bye Tokyo

Yakiniku... *drools at the barbecue* And the view of Tokyo Tower at night is gorgeous. A lot of my friends who've gone to Japan all say that it's one of the most romantic views at night, second to Yokohama. :)

LOOOOOOL Vampire Cafe. Expensive as it was, it's one of my fondest memories of Tokyo.

What brought you out there?

I didnt think was overly expensive! we had a couple of courses, drinks, and dessert for about 20£ each, you had to pay 500yen to sit, but thats like 3 pounds, so totally worth it being with our little curtain calling the waiters with a bell :)

How was the flight ?

All I can say is that all the bad stories about Heathrow gate 5 are all true. What a madhouse of confusion.

There are actually 5 statue of liberties in the world. The original was suppose to go on the mouth of the Suez canal, but they did not want it so after shopping it around for a few years with no takers the french just gave it to America.

didnt know there was 5, where are the other 3?
